Last week when I saw a certain chick flick sequel in the theater, I got subjected to an extended behind-the-scenes making of preview trailer for this show. I thought it looked comically bad - full of every legal drama cliche in existence. I'm not sure if it's for a female audience, but maybe the producers aren't sure either -- how else to explain Mark Paul Gosselaer's long hair? Bet-hedging made visual!

You know, that's such a good point. Although, in the episode with the high schoolers, that's not quite true. The question of innocence there was murkier which may be why I liked that episode and case more.

I honestly don't know if I see it pulling in a female audience but perhaps. I feel like it's supposed to pull more for the anti-establishment people but I just didn't feel that message strongly enough. If anything, I kept thinking Mark Paul's character was annoying in his inability to see that he could be doing more for his clients if he didn't refuse to give a little. But maybe that's because that's more my view on things? Maybe for those who are more like the character will truly identify with and be pulled in by him?
