Like I was saying, I’m just twisted enough that I now almost (almost…) look forward to The Suck, as it’s a reminder that there are people in your life worth missing, greater goals worth pursuing, things still left worth doing. The Suck is a effective reminder of what I have to do: “whatever is necessary to be here again next year.”

Thanks for sharing that. So often successful screenwriters act like writing is the most depressing thing in the world and they’d all be happier working in a salt mine or something.

It’s good to hear that a man that successful still loves his job.
