Geekerati and SDCC

1. Geekerati, the podcast I co-hosted with Christian Lindke, Bill Cunningham and Eric Lytle up until the middle of last year is COMING BACK.  Watch this space and http://geekeratimedia.com (not yet active) for details.  The return should be around the second week of July, so yes, we will be doing another Comic Con Live Call In Show

Here are links to the the shows we did last year, Part 1 and Part 2:

2. I will be following up the insanely popular comic con guide ( part one and part two) from last year with NEW insights and advice.  I’ll be publishing the updated guide between June 20-22 (T-minus one month until the Con).  Please use this post to ask questions in advance or send me an email!  Details are on this page somewhere…

I’m covering Comic Con for http://seat42f.com this year! Let’s hope the TV panel schedule isn’t a complete nightmare.

Just to let you know, we ended up using the 300 shield as a prop for my kids’ Summer camp that year. Turned the 300 into Isolde, and it worked quite well… To all of the rules you’ve posted there are exceptions. You didn’t say anywhere in part one or part two not to rush yourself. I know Don’t Panic is good advice, but vague at the same time. I do remember a time at the Con when you COULD do everything, if by everything you mean attending all the panels you wanted to attend, and walking the exhibit hall when it wasn’t like the planet Gideon, and being able to meet and actually converse with creator types….

Anyway, see you there, if you know where to find me 🙂
